What is the y doing?

The North Central Florida YMCA has been working these past several months to ensure that the Northwood YMCA will have a secure and bright future in Gainesville.

Here are some of the highlights of the steps that have been taken and will continue to be taken to improve our YMCA.

• Training of staff for enhanced member interactions
• Renovations of the facility for a safe and inviting experience
• Childcare: added additional Gator Game Care, Mom’s Night Outs, and Enhanced Enrichment Clubs
• Performing Arts: added Cheerleading, Colorguard, and Dance
• Sports: renovated our Archer Rd Sports Complex, added Lacrosse and Paintball
• Wellness: added Massage Therapy, Smoothie and Juice Bar, 90 day Weight Loss Challenge, and Y2U Corporate Wellness
