POE SPRINGS PARK |

Poe Springs Park: Poe Springs Park was purchased by Alachua County in 1985 and has since been managed by the NCF YMCA. These 202 acres of scenic woodlands and rolling fields are situated along the banks of the pristine Santa Fe River. Bubbling up from the limestone rock of the Florida Aquifer, this spring flows in excess of 44 million gallons of cool, clear water per day. Enjoy seeing turtles sunning on a log, herons wading along the banks and otters playing at the river. The park is located just three miles west of High Springs on CR 340.
The park provides volleyballs, soccer balls and footballs at no cost. Two volleyball courts, two tetherball pits, a softball field, a baseball field and playgrounds are available. Several large shelters and grills are also permanent amenities at the park, which are great for get-togethers and barbecues.
The Lodge at Poe Springs, with its spectacular view of the Santa Fe River is the perfect place for corporate functions, award banquets, weddings, family reunions, workshops, conferences, or holiday parties. The Great Room seats 70 people and an adjoining covered pavilion seats an additional 70. Amenities include a stone fireplace, kitchenette, and restrooms.
